The content of NGIT packages is not rigid, we can built custom infrastructures based on standard components. We can easily customize them depending of customer's needs. However to facilitate the understanding of our solution, we present solely the 4 levels as explained in previous topic.

Customer Office Equipments

Products selection

We provide our customers with enterprise class hardware components to insure better durability and better driver support. 
 

Desktop and Laptops

We offer our customers a large choice of high-end HP computers. Desktops and laptops are provided with all accessories adapted to each customer's needs.

We selected HP because their desktops and laptops are indisputably the best on the market when it comes to their reliability, performance, functionality and manageability.

All PCs will be completely managed with automated systems, from the installation of the Operating System (Microsoft Windows 7) to the maintenance of the whole system, including patches management, software installation and OS configuration.

In terms of security, employees do not have administration rights on the machines. All critical settings are controlled and enforced by the servers; the employees cannot change these settings and thus alter the machines' security.

All business applications are deployed from a server in order to provide standard sets of applications without compromising PC's reliability and security.

All PCs are accessible by NGIT Help Desk from a remote location, allowing us to remotely assist our customers at any time without requiring us to move to their premises.

Unified Communications

As an option, we can provide an IP Telephony PBX based on Cisco Unified CallManager and manage all IP Phones of the company.

Most demanding customers can take benefits from our TANDBERG Videoconferencing infrastructure to enhance communications and thus collaborations between differents persons geographically dispersed using different kind of technologies.

We also improve customers' communications and productivity thanks to Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 (MOC). This rich unified communication software client allows instant messaging, real-time presence detection and voice and video over IP communications from the PC. Collaboration between users is enhanced by MS Office Live Meeting which allows web conferences. Several attendees are then grouped into a virtual conference room in order to share data and documents. 
 

Network Access

Starting with Basic Level, we provide our customer a network link from their premises to data centers where servers of their private infrastructure are hosted. Depending on the location of their office, this link could be a simple Point-To-Point line over optical fiber or xDSL technologies with a bandwidth from 10Mbps and up to 10Gps.

We provide Cisco Catalyst switches as well as Category 6 patch cables in order to connect all computers, printers and IP Phones.

All network equipments hosted in customer premises are sustained by an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).

Remote Access Solutions

Application Virtualization

The concept is to run business logic of applications on a central server, transmitting only screen pixels, keystrokes, and mouse movements via an encrypted channel to users' computers.

For instance, applications virtualization ensures real-time access to order processing system, CRM and all other business applications. This allows a day or night access from Home, Hotel, Cyber Cafes, Customers' sites or even when travelling thanks to a Notebook and a Wireless 3G data card.

This remote access applications makes mobility easier by extending geographic reach for employees without requirering any special equipment or network. The remote user experience is the same as working at a desk in the head office to enable remote users to work productively even on low speed connections of 20Kbps. This solution provides remote workers with the same productivity tools as office workers.

Depending on the selected NGIT Level, we propose a remote access based either on Windows 2008 Terminal Server or on Citrix XenApp.

Citrix vs. Terminal Server

Citrix XenApp is technically similar to remote access solution based on pure Terminal Server. However, Citrix enhances server computer processing by increasing performances and security, enriching load-balancing and simplify printing. This certainly explains why it is widely-deployed and used by almost all Fortune 500 companies.

Datacenter

Central Hosting

To assure the integrity and functionality of NGIT infrastructure, we host all NGIT servers and associated components, such as network and storage systems in a dedicated IT room where absolutely everything is redundant to prevent any single point of failure to happen. 

Redundancy

These data centers infrastructure are compliants with most stringent level defined by Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) classification, Tier-3 data centers which are designed to host mission critical computer systems, with fully redundant subsystems and compartmentalized security zones controlled by biometric access controls methods (finger print recognition man traps).

Redundant HVAC systems are used to control the temperature and humidity in the data center. Maximum cooling efficiency is achieved through a raised floor design, server layout, and physical separations between hot and cold aisles.

All failure scenarios have been planned and tested and for instance, power supplies are redundant AND sustained by diesel generators in case of power cut.

Physical Security

Access to datacenters is restricted to selected personnel. Video cameras and permanent security guards are always present to control accesses.

Customer Private Infrastructure

Virtual Private Room

Our architecture consists in centralizing the heart of customers' IT infrastructure into a virtual private room of our data center.

This segmentation of client organizations is enabled by the use of virtualization which allows multiple Operating System environments to co-exist on the same server, in strong isolation from each other. 

Data integrity

In addition to Volume Shadow Copy and Outlook Recover Deleted Items, our system will automatically back up daily your important files and data offsite to our secure secondary datacenters. We provide a daily differential backup, a weekly full backup and a 90 days backup retention period.

End-to-End Security

Only authorized computers can access the network on which customer's sensitive data are located. Guests with laptops are redirected automatically into a particular non-trusted network that can solely access to Internet. 

Support Escalation

After a problem is logged into the call tracking system (by phone, email or EMC Ionix web console), NGIT Help Desk technicians try to identify and isolate the source of the problem, which can be hardware, software, network or application. After a very short period, if the Help Desk technicians can't find the solution, they escalate the issue to one Senior Engineer.

The Senior Engineer updates NGIT second Level Helpdesk and informs the customer on the problem status as frequently as agreed upon contract. The customer may also check the status of the call with NGIT Helpdesk by quoting the unique call reference code assigned when the call is logged.

Central Infrastructure

High-End Infrastructure

Our proposal consists in centralizing the heart of customers' IT infrastructures into our data centers.

The core foundation of our infrastructure is based on a set of high quality servers, storage systems, firewalls, backup and software, totally mastered by our engineers and chosen for their compliance with industry standards and the level of service their manufacturers and editors can provide.
 

Isolated Components

NGIT is based on a multi-instance architecture where separate virtual machines or hardware systems are set up for different client organizations. NGIT take widely benefits of from virtualization technology to host multiple isolated virtual machines on one or more VMware ESX servers.

Virtualization is sometimes not adapted to most demanding application workloads and thus, we can provide to our customers dedicated HP Blade servers which will be part of their private infrastructure.

Shared Components

All components of NGIT central infrastructure that don't constitute a breach of security (cannot contained any customer's data), serve multiple client organizations.

Entry Level

Entry Level is devoted to simplicity and extreme mobility. 

Remote Access from anywhere

Each company uses a dedicated Terminal Server on Windows Server 2008 to access remotely to data and applications from anywhere.

In this model, we do not provide to workers managed computers, therefore they have the choice to use any computers running Mac OS, Linux or Windows. 

Shared Folders

A shared folder allows users to collaborate securely and efficiently with their colleagues. By default, each Logical End-User can store up to 10GB of data. 

Mailbox

We provide each Logical End-User one managed mailbox with by a default capacity of 5GB. 

Service Desk Support

NGIT Service Desk is the single Point of Contact to meet the communications needs to satisfy customers' IT objectives.

In addition to our Support Call Center which will be available during normal business hours, customers can easily report incidents and make service requests using the market leading ITIL compliant IT Service Management (ITSM) software named EMC Ionix Server Manager.

Basic Level

Remote Access from anywhere

In this Basic Level package, each company uses a dedicated Terminal Server on Windows Server 2008 to access remotely to data and applications from anywhere. 

Domain Controller

A dedicated Microsoft Windows 2008 R2, will act as domain controller and thus manage identification and authentication services. This server will also be your file and print server with a capacity of 50GB of data in addition to 5GB reserved for each Logical End-User. 

Mail Server

An e-mail server based on Microsoft Exchange 2010 with a storage capacity of 40GB in addition to 5GB planned for each Logical End-User Mailbox. 

Sizing adjustments

This NGIT package is not rigid; we can provide you with additional resources on demand like memory or storage as well as addition applications servers (physical or virtual). 

Service Desk Support

NGIT Service Desk is the single Point of Contact to meet the communications needs to satisfy customers' IT objectives.

In addition to our Support Call Center which will be available during normal business hours, customers can easily report incidents and make service requests using the market leading ITIL compliant IT Service Management (ITSM) software named EMC Ionix Server Manager.

Advanced Level

Citrix XenApp for Remote Access

We provide a dedicated Citrix XenApp server to access remotely and easily to data and business applications from anywhere. 

Domain Controller

Enterprise Level

Citrix Server

We supply a dedicated farm of several Citrix XenApp servers to easily access remotely to data and business applications from anywhere. 

Domain Controller

We provide two Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers to manage identification and authentication services. 

Clustered Mail Servers

A Database Availability Group (DAG) between two Microsoft Exchange 2010 servers provide redundancy and fast connectivity to our customers.

Of course Outlook run on laptops and desktops computers as well as on Citrix Servers. It is also possible for laptop's users to open Outlook from anywhere (RPC over HTTPS). Additionally, users will have the opportunity to use Outlook Web Access or Outlook Mobile (native Push Email similar to BlackBerry on handhelds running Windows Mobile), and the new Outlook Voice Access (that will be available later). 

Cluster File Servers

A cluster file and print server based on Windows Server 2008 R2. 

Application Server(s)

Customers have the possiblity to include in the package one or several application servers like Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, SAP, etc...
